My photography is in the style of
Photo Journalism, capturing slices of everyday life that make
us smile or put us in awe. Inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson,
the father of the Decisive Moment, I walk the streets watching
life unfold before me and snap….I grab the moment.
With my degree in filmmaking I have the back ground to tell
a story, but take the challenge of saying in one frame rather
than many. I am old school, shooting only Black and White film
and printing the images myself. I find that I don’t need
to pose a scene, life is already there, presenting itself.
So whether it is boy who has appeared to have sprouted wings,
bridesmaids riding bikes down a street in, the Vatican police
admiring a pretty girl, or man enjoying a gelato, these are every
day moments I like to take. |
