Cynthia and Frank Lux are Chicago
area transplants. After
25-year careers in advertising, these two have now turned their
creative eye toward the potters' studio.
Frank's wheel pieces are simple in form, yet complex in glaze combinations.
Cynthia tends more toward slab construction, utilizing nature as
inspiration for both design and color. Although two completely
different directions, this "clay journey" has been
one of mutual encouragement and renewed creativity
Sculabasta--FUN-ctional Stoneware truly does put the "fun" into
functional stoneware. Each piece is one of a kind, inspired at
the moment of creation.
