Currently, I’m working on a series called “Vintage Industrial”, simple geometric building forms with surface treatments suggesting disintegration and impurities. Photographing industrial buildings from the 1920’s to the 1940’s is the way I begin looking at structures, surfaces, and surroundings that have been acted on by man and nature over time. Not looking to duplicate the information I gather in photographs, I use it instead as a springboard to experiment with textural effects and interactive zones.
